LITTLE BALLERS SUMMER SERIES

  • Little BALLERS (AGES 3-6)

    This 5-week introductory basketball series is designed to help young kids fall in love with the game through fun, play-based learning. Players will develop hand-eye coordination, body awareness, and confidence while learning basketball basics like dribbling, passing, and shooting—all in a positive, no-pressure environment.

    What to Expect:

    Dribbling games with cones and low hoops

    Passing and catching with foam balls

    Shooting fundamentals on mini hoops

    Fun relays, movement games, and social skill development

    Tons of encouragement and high-fives

  • Power Play (ages 7-11)

    For our older Little Ballers, this series introduces fundamental basketball skills with more structure and challenge—perfect for kids new to the game or looking to sharpen their skills. Players will work on dribbling, shooting form, footwork, passing, and team play in a supportive, high-energy environment.

    What to Expect:

    Ball-handling drills and technique building

    Shooting mechanics with form cues

    Movement skills: pivoting, triple threat, layups

    Game-based drills and mini scrimmages

    Focus on effort, attitude, and teamwork

FAQs

What should my child wear?

Comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers. Water bottle encouraged.

Do I need to stay on-site?

Parents of kids in Little Ballers (ages 3–6) must remain on site. For Little Ballers: Next Levek, you’re welcome to stay or drop off and pick up.

What if we miss a class?

We don’t offer formal make-up classes, but we’ve intentionally priced the series with the understanding that some families may only be able to attend 4 out of the 5 sessions. We get that summer is busy, and we’ve built in flexibility while still keeping class sizes small and impactful.

How many kids are in each class?

We cap classes at 10 for Little Movers and for Power Play to ensure personal attention and safety.

Who coaches the classes?

All sessions are led by Gym X owners Cora and Kristina—experienced, certified coaches with backgrounds in youth fitness and athletics. Your kids will be in great hands with energetic, encouraging instruction tailored to their age and skill level.
